இலங்கையில் பல உயிர்கள் பலிவாங்கிய குண்டுவெடிப்பு சம்பவம் பற்றி பிரபலங்கள் பலரும் சமூக வலைத்தளங்களில் இரங்கல் மற்றும் கண்டனம் தெரிவித்து வருகின்றனர்.
இந்நிலையில் நடிகர் ரஜினிகாந்த் பதிவிட்டுள்ள ட்விட்டில் "ஈஸ்டர் திருநாளான இன்று இலங்கையில் நடந்த இந்த துயரத்தில் பாதிக்கபட்ட மக்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் சொல்ல வார்த்தைகள் இல்லை" என கூறியுள்ளார்.
