Panchu Arunachalam, the man behind several successful projects of Rajinikanth and Kamalhaasan in their earlier career, has passed away today.
The multi talented man, has written scripts for more than 100 films, and some of the remarkable ones are Murattu Kaalai, Sakalakala Vallavan, Apoorva Sagodharargal etc. Most of his films produced by his production house PA Arts in 70s and 80s were huge hits. Rajinikanth used to say “Balachander may have introduced me, but Panchu made me an artist.”
His body has been kept at his home in T.Nagar, Chennai, and public will be allowed to pay final tribute till 6 PM today. The last rights of Panchu Arunachalam will be performed after his son arrives from USA.
